Youth Summit on Human Fraternity & Compassion

We celebrate Surakshit Bachpan Diwas every year to commemorate the birthday of our founder and Nobel Peace Laureate, Kailash Satyarthi. He has liberated more than 100,000 children from child labour, slavery, trafficking, and other forms of exploitation. Read more about Kailash Satyarthi here.

This year marked his 70th birthday, and below are the following updates:

Felicitation of 338 people, including men, women, children, and senior citizens in 7 states across in 124+ Gram Panchayats, for their commitment to bringing sustainable change in communities through their compassionate actions.

54 storytelling sessions engaging 7677 participants were conducted to explain the difference between sympathy, empathy, and compassion through eccentric storytelling sessions.

Health camps, quizzes, and sports activities took place in 7 states, reaching 15,700 people.
