We firmly believe that no child should endure the horrors of exploitation, trafficking, child marriage or forced labour. For over 44 years, Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi’s groundbreaking efforts have been fueled by one powerful force – Compassion. Compassion is more than just empathy; it is the deepest connection with the suffering of others that compels you to take action to end that suffering. 

It was a single spark of compassion which compelled the engineer turned social reformer, Kailash Satyarthi to rescue the daughter of a bonded labour in 1981.  From an era when child labour was a barely heard-of issue, to influencing global laws and policies against child exploitation, education, and child marriage— our journey is a testament to the transformative power of compassion. 

We dream of a world where compassion becomes a way of life. At SMGC, we are empowering youth, women, children, and individuals to step up and become compassionate champions. Slowly but surely, we are dedicated to empowering compassionate leaders from all walks of life, igniting a global movement that bridges the gap between those who suffer and those who solve.
